Customized Forums offers four types of forums with optimized access control, forum grouping, different displaying modes and other exciting features to serve the purposes of role assigning case discussion, assessment, general discussing, etc. Users can upload their own images and signatures to be displayed with their posts. Instructors can choose to allow emoticons in the postings to add to the liveliness of the discussion.

Team Builder provides flexibility of team creation
and member enrollment in ANGEL. Three
enrollment options include student sign up,
instructor assigned, and random assignment by
the tool. By introducing the concept of a
‘Team Container’, different sets of teams can be
created for different roles or assignments in the
course.

Handin allows students to upload individual or
team assignments and view graded files
uploaded by the instructors. Instructors can
search student submissions by selective criteria,
download student submissions as a zip file and
upload graded files back as a zip file. The tool is
designed to automatically match up the graded
files to the student files for students to pick up.

Test Tool allows students to download exam
files and complete them offline. Both exam
files provided by instructor and submission files
returned by students can be any file type.
Exams is timed by the tool starting when the
student downloads the exam file and ending
when the student submits the solution file(s).

Team Presentation allows students in a team
to upload and share files. Team members can
then select the files to create a presentation
and make the presentation viewable to the
rest of the class. Instructors can view and
make comments to each presentation or each
file in the presentation.
